I'm not going to take an excerpt out of context and plonk it here, but I do implore you to take the time in your day to read it. It is befitting the man, which is no small feat.

Good afternoon all, and welcome back to the blog on a day that few of us will be able to make sense of. By now you certainly will have heard the news that the great Shane Warne died overnight, shocking cricket, Australia and so much of the world. If you're anything like me, you'll be having a hell of a hard time trying to get your head around the fact this is a real thing that has actually happened.

There is cricket to play tonight, and every iota of day two in Rawalpindi will be right here in this blog, but it's also a place for us to continue to remember Warney, and to follow along as the players in Pakistan remember the man.
