Paedophile GUILTY of repeatedly sexually abusing schoolgirl after plying her with drink and drugs

A paedophile plied a schoolgirl with drink and drugs and repeatedly sexually abused her after meeting on Snapchat. Faisal Khan faces a lengthy jail sentence after being found guilty of three counts of having sexual activity with the 14-year-old girl, and another count of supplying her with cannabis.

He was acquitted of two counts of sexual assault and a sixth count of having sexual activity with the 14-year-old girl on the judge's orders during the trial, due to a lack of evidence.

The 19-year-old denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that they'd never had sexual contact and that the girl had told him she was 19.

But a jury rejected his account and found him guilty. Khan, from Oldham, is due to be sentenced later this year.

During his trial jurors at Manchester Crown Court heard that Khan met up with the girl 'nearly every day' and had 'some form of sexual activity every time they met'. Prosecutors said Khan had an 'intense sexual relationship' with the girl, 'which he perpetuated by supplying her with alcohol and drugs'.

The pair had initially met on Snapchat via one of the girl's friends. In introductory messages Khan 'complimented' the girl and told her she was 'pretty'.

They soon met up in person and Khan began picking her up in a car, and supplying her with cannabis, alcohol or balloons of nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas. Khan would tell her to meet him in a nearby car park because he was 'clearly concerned her mum would find out', prosecutor Ben Lawrence said.

They shared more than 3,000 messages on the social media platform and Khan 'made her feel special'. He told the schoolgirl that he loved her and they shared kisses and heart emojis
