Padraig Harrington in top 10 as Corey Conners closes it out in Texas
Padraig Harrington finished in a tie for 10th as Corey Conners pipped Sam Stevens to the Valero Texas Open by one shot.
The 51-year-old three-time major winner started the day five shots off the overnight lead set by Patrick Rodgers but finished seven adrift of Conners after a one-under-par 71.
Harrington recorded three bogeys and four birdies.
An eagle from Stevens on 17 put it up to Conners but the Canadian, who hit four birdies in a flawless 68, made par on the last to close out victory.
Sam Ryder and Matt Kuchar shared third on 13 under while Rodgers fell to fifth place and -11 after a 73.
