Paddy Pimblett has already made huge UFC London promise for Rodrigo Vargas fight

Paddy Pimblett recently promised that he'll put on the 'greatest entrance in UFC history' In London tonight.

The Liverpool MMA star fights Mexican Rodrigo 'Kazula' Vargas at the O2 Arena in his second UFC bout.

There is a stacked card full of exciting British fighters - including fellow Scouser Molly McCann - with Pimblett a huge attraction.

Vargas, who lost on UFC 261, has a 1-2 record since joining the company, with one of his losses coming by way of a controversial disqualification.

Pimblett announced himself in the UFC with an emphatic win last year knocking out Luigi Vendramini in the first-round.

He made the move from Cage Warriors in 2021, coming off the back of an impressive three-win streak.

Speaking in February, Paddy the Baddy promised to put on a show in the capital - in and out of the ring.

He said: "He (Vargas) is going to be like 'What is going on here, this is a festival', this is like a festival with everyone screaming his name, that's going to get to him. That'll happen wherever I fight now when there's a crowd.

"My tune gets people going and people want to see a fight. When you close that octagon door, there's only me and him in there so there's not much advantage at all but I've always wanted to come out with my tune in the UK.

'It's going to be the greatest entrance the UFC has ever seen and it isn't even a title fight or contender fight. People will be talking about this entrance for the next 10-20 years!"

Manchester heavyweight Tom Aspinall - who fights out of Liverpool - will main event the card, taking on veteran Alexander Volkov.
