Paddy McGuinness says he's 'on the pull' as he ditches UK and is left 'gutted'

Paddy McGuinness quipped he's 'on the pull' after ditching the UK with his time away from home briefly leaving him 'gutted'. The Bolton-born star's joke comes after he announced his separation from former wife Christine McGuinness in July 2022 after 11 years of marriage.

Paddy, 50, and Christine, 36, however, continue to maintain a strong relationship as they live together while co-parenting their three children - twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and Felicity, aged seven - and still live together in their Cheshire family home.

But at the moment, Christine is going solo while Paddy is in Sweden where he is documenting his trip on social media. The comedian and presenter swapped the UK for Sweden last week and has confirmed it is for work purposes.

And so his latest joke came as he updated his 2.1m Instagram followers alongside his career news on Sunday (May 19). In the photo shared, Paddy could be seen pulling a huge rope that has been tied around a tree, in what appears to be a forest.

Captioning the update, Paddy cheekily said: "On the pull in Sweden. #newshow #comingsoon". SAS veteran Melvyn Downes was among the first to respond to the post, writing: "Just use a chainsaw pal," before many of Paddy's fans have also took to the comments section to react.
