Paasch defends Daytona 200 title with Triumph and TOBC Racing

Triumph Motorcycles, celebrates 120 years of performance with a return to 2022’s 80th anniversary Daytona 200 as Brandon Paasch defends his title.

The factory-backed TOBC – Triumph racing team sees the result of a partnership between the British brand, with support from FreedomRoad Financial, and the racing team led by Michelle Lindsay, which has won three of the past six runnings of the legendary race, and is the only woman-owned team with a Daytona 200 win.

Danny Eslick partners Paasch to compete on official Triumph supplied race-derived Street Triple RS machines, fine-tuned with insights gained from the Dynavolt Triumph team during the 2021 British Supersport Championship. Triumph’s 765 Triple engine has proven outstanding performance and reliability in the last three seasons of the Moto2 World Championship and is now approved under the sanctioning of the American Motorcyclist Association and MotoAmerica, our to the closely replicated rules set by World Supersport Championship for 2022, allowing for a wider range of motorcycles to compete.

The experienced duo have won five of the last seven Daytona 200 events. Paasch, the defending Daytona 200 champion following his win in 2021, has spent the past season in BSB on a similar spec bike while four-time winner Eslick’s victories include his 2014 win aboard a Triumph Daytona 675, with his most recent success coming in 2018. Together they present a strong lineup for the high speed demands of the Daytona 200.

“I’m incredibly excited to return to the Daytona 200 with this team, and with the continued personal support from the Classic Car Club of Manhattan, Evolve GT, and Luxe Star,” Paasch confirmed. “I feel very comfortable with this bike already after the full season riding
