Overwatch 2 to host PvP Beta in late April
The developers of Overwatch 2 have announced that they will be hosting a PvP Beta test event in the next few weeks.
The next iteration of the hugely popular hero-based first-person shooter has been in development for some time with Activision Blizzard set to move the series on, with their aspirations of taking it to the next level.
While the release date has yet to be announced, the developers are allegedly considering the concept of cross-play, which will see PC and console players competing in the same online lobbies (via Blizzard Watch).
Overwatch 2 recently entered its alpha phase, based on development and community feedback, as Activision look to continue their work towards their eagerly anticipated launch date.
However, Activision have now announced that a second closed test will take place which will get fans of the series on the edge of their seats to see what they have been up to.

Via the game’s official website, Activision made the announcement that a PvP beta for Overwatch 2 will begin in late April (via Tom Warren).
