Osimhen, Arokodare are early birds as Super Eagles camp in Kigali opens

• Bauchi Governor mobilises Supporters Club against Zimbabwe

Super Eagles Striker, Victor Osimhen, yesterday, demonstrated how important qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is to him by being among the first five players to arrive in the national team’s camp, which opened in Kigali, Rwanda on Sunday.

An update from the Super Eagles camp, yesterday indicated that Osimhen was been joined in the camp by Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, Amas Obasogie, and Tolu Arokodare.

Nigeria has just three points from four matches played so far against the seven points by Rwanda, South Africa, and the Benin Republic.

The Chairman of the Supporters Club, Vincent Okumagba told The Guardian in a telephone chat, yesterday, that he had been instructed to organise three Marcopolo luxury buses (two in Lagos and one in Abuja) to convey his members to Uyo for the clash against Zimbabwe.
