Well, that's a wrap on the Oscars 2022 ( writes Emma in LA) 

There was a lot that worked at this year's show, I thought. Firstly, there was genuine excitement on the red carpet, at humans mingling with each other again. I thought the all-female presenting trio had some genuinely funny moments, and I liked the cafe-style setting, with A listers and nominees sitting round near the stage. A lot of the tone was right I thought and CODA's victories were heartwarming.

The ceremony was still three and a half hours long , but everyone will be searching online tomorrow for the three minutes of footage between Will Smith and Chris Rock.
