Opinion: Predicting Celtic's starting line-up to play Bodo/Glimt

It goes without saying that Celtic face a daunting task to keep the Hoops’ Europa Conference League hopes alive when the team faces Bodo/Glimt in Norway tomorrow evening.

The Bhoys go into the game looking to overturn a 3-1 deficit from the first leg, where the Norwegian side comfortably won at Celtic Park.

In the time since the first leg, the Hoops won a five-goal thriller against Dundee to extend the lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, but all thoughts of domestic football will be put to the side briefly as Ange Postecoglou’s side attempts to keep their Europa Conference League hopes alive.

Celtic will go into the second leg looking to score goals, as the Bhoys need to win by two goals to take the game into extra time, whilst a three goal or more victory would clinch a remarkable turnaround in the tie.

The team that will be selected by Ange Postecoglou will presumably have scoring goals in mind, as that is the only way that the Hoops are going to win the tie, even a one goal margin of victory would not be enough for the Bhoys.

The left-back situation will most likely see a change from the first leg, with Josip Juranovic switching over to left-back to replace Greg Taylor, and Anthony Ralston taking the right-back slot. That duo’s attacking prowess could be useful for the Bhoys in the hunt for goals.

The starting centre-back duo seems certain to be Carl Startfelt and Cameron
