Olympics - Speed skating - American Jackson wins gold in women's 500m

BEIJING : Erin Jackson of the United States won gold in the women's 500 metres speed skating at the Beijing Olympics on Sunday.

Miho Takagi of Japan claimed silver, and Angelina Golikova of the Russian Olympic Committee took bronze.
