Oliveira and Fernandez confirmed at Aprilia RNF MotoGP

Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez will depart Red Bull KTM for Aprilia in 2023 as the pair partner up in the new Noale satellite team.

Despite a rejuvenated offer from the GasGas team on the table for the four-time race winner, Oliveira has opted for a complete change for the coming year as he partners the current Tech3 rookie in his sophomore premier class season.

The 2023 line up was teased by video on Tuesday ahead of the Misano MotoGP weekend with the pair still under contract with the Austrian manufacturer, and therefore unable to comment, until the close of the season.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernandez to the WithU RNF MotoGP Team from 2023,” Team Principal Razlan Razali confirmed. “It has not been a simple process, but together with Aprilia we were very clear on the riders that we wanted.

“They are both young riders with a good combination of experience, coming from Miguel, and Raúl who I’m personally a fan of since he shocked the Moto2 category last year to become Vice Champion. To finally secure him, is fantastic. Both Aprilia and we believe in the talent of both riders, so we can’t wait for them to ride for us next season!”
