Oleksandr Zinchenko: Arsenal star's farewell speech to Man City teammates

Oleksandr Zinchenko is now an Arsenal player.

After six trophy-laden years at Manchester City, Ukraine’s versatile captain has opted for a new challenge and a reunion with Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal coughed up around £30 million to sign Zinchenko on a four-year deal, which for a very talented 25-year-old player in the current market is a bit of a bargain.

But while first-team football will be far easier to come by in north London, Zinchenko was clearly a bit upset about having to leave City this summer.

He was a very popular figure in Pep Guardiola’s squad and judging by footage of his farewell speech, the former Shakhtar Donetsk man really will miss being a part of the furniture at the home of the Premier League champions.
