Oldham Academy North sets students up for future with best ever GCSE results

It's crucial that primary school children find the right school to progress on to to help them with their next steps in their learning journey. Finding the best fit for their future is an important decision, and something that E-ACT Oldham Academy North understands can be a difficult one.

There's lots to take into consideration, the subjects, support, facilities and extra-curricular agenda on offer - but what often rings most important is evidence of the results and outcomes from students.

This summer, E-ACT Oldham Academy North saw its 2022 GCSE students achieving the very best results the academy had ever seen. More than one in three students achieved grade 7s in all subjects, with 141 grade 9s on the books too.

For those taking the huge leap into secondary education, the academy hopes to make the transition from Year Six to Year Seven as smooth as possible by offering an opportunity for prospective students to have early exposure to the academy life.

E-ACT Oldham Academy Northis hosting an open evening on Thursday, September 15, from 3pm until 6pm for Years Four, Five and Six. The evening will offer children and their parents or guardians the opportunity to experience the facilities first-hand; learn about the array of subjects on offer; watch a presentation by SLT; have the chance to speak to all of the teaching staff and meet the headteacher; and find out about the ethos and mission behind the academy.

Headteacher Rachael Hallam expressed her excitement at the prospect of new students choosing the academy as their next place to learn, explaining that she hopes they find the institution an inclusive and inspiring place.
