Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn noted that he wants to bring more events to the UK on a Sunday afternoon/evening and that he sees this as a massive step forward for the sport.

Speaking as part of the pre-fight press conference, he said: “A huge night of boxing planned for Sunday, I’ve always felt there is massive potential for Sunday boxing, and you’ll see it in full action and flow this weekend – starting at 3pm in London and main event expected in the ring around 9pm live on DAZN.
