The posting, which is already raising eyebrows among key stakeholders, was signed by deputy director Bello Ahmed. The directive, titled “Posting of Sports Officers/Secretary-Generals to National Sports Federations on SGL 08-16,” stated that the Director-General has sanctioned the changes and attached a detailed list of affected officers.

The circulars instructed the Federation Establishment and Appointment Department to ensure compliance with the posting directives immediately. The exercise affected over 51 officers. They include: Mbora Ikana from Lagos Liaison office to FEAD, Essie Sylvester, zonal coordinator (Benin) to NSF/Para, Okere Chukwuemeka from FEAD to zonal coordinator (Bauchi), Abulude John Oludayo from Tennis to GRSD, Alhaji Adamu Maikano from Taekwando to zonal coordinator (Kaduna), Ezema Bernard Ede from Cycling to zonal coordinator (Enugu).

Others include, Alhaji Mohammed Maigidasanmo from Wrestling to FEAD, Rita Mosindi from Athletics Federation to Chief Sports Officer, Peter Njoku from Chief Sports Officer to Basketball, Osuoha Victor Chinedu from Chief Sports Officer to Hockey.
