Oasis reunion 2025 live updates as Liam and Noel Gallagher make announcement, ticket info and possible venues

After years of fans hopefully waiting, teasing and now cryptic tweets it seems that Oasis are finally reuniting. While we wait, with our fingers firmly crossed, for 8am and the official announcement it has been widely predicted the famous brothers are back.

Both brothers tweeted a cryptic graphic, hinting they were revealing some big news at 8am today. If Liam and Noel Gallagher are indeed putting aside their differences and sharing a stage again there is expected to be a very high demand for tickets, with fans desperate to go.

Oasis formed in 1991 in Manchester and they are seen as one of the defining and most globally successful groups of the Britpop genre. They had many years of chart success with hits like Live Forever, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger.

In 2009 the band split up when Noel posted a short but cutting statement on the band's website. He said: "It is with some sadness and great relief...I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."

We are really hoping that Oasis will include a Welsh gig in their announcement and it would come as no surprise, as both Noel and Liam have performed separately in Wales during their solo careers. We will be running this live blog to give you up to date information on the big news at 8am and then everything you will need to know.
