Oasis issue essential tickets advice as new images of Liam and Noel Gallagher's reunion released

Oasis fans are getting ready for an almighty scramble for tickets for the Manchester bands' huge reunion tour which go on general sale on Saturday at 8am. Liam and Noel Gallagher announced earlier this week the news fans thought would never come - that they are reuniting again for the first time in 15 years.

Now the band have issued "essential advice" for fans getting ready to buy tickets for either the Dublin gigs (from 8am) or the UK dates of the tour (from 9am).

Taking to social media late on Friday night, the band issued a statement alongside previously unseen behind the scenes pictures of Liam and Noel on their reunion shoot.

The statement said: "Are you ready? It's essential that you have an account and are logged in with the relevant ticketing agencies ahead of the general sale."

The images shared with the post see Liam and Noel on the set of their reunion shoot that had been kept closely under wraps for weeks ahead of the official announcement of their comeback.

In the black and white images, by photographer Simon Emmett, the brothers are seen chatting together before posing up for their shots shoulder to shoulder.

Oasis' return was announced on Tuesday morning after growing speculation of a reunion.

Confirming the news Oasis said in a statement: "The guns have fallen silent, The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Ticket prices for the tour were confirmed on Thursday afternoon and will range from £65 to £185 (excluding fees) and vary depending on venue and whether they are seated or standing. There will be strict rules in place, with regard to how many tickets you can
