Nottingham Forest striker Keinan Davis drawing interest from Premier League outfit

Nottingham Forest's on-loan striker Keinan Davis is drawing attention from Premier League scouts, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a relatively successful time at Forest since making his January move to the City Ground with two goals and two assists to his name already.

He also produced impressive performances in Forest's FA Cup wins over Leicester City and Arsenal.

According to The Sun, his high-quality displays have resulted in interest from the Premier League with Mike Rigg, formerly Burnley's director of football, reported to have watched Davis on behalf of Norwich City last week.

Interest from Norwich City perhaps comes as little surprise given the Canaries are currently managed by former Villa boss Dean Smith.

The duo know each other well from their time at Villa and it was Smith who gave Davis his Premier League debut.

Norwich find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table with five points between them and safety as they face a drop back into the Championship.

Davis' contract is up for renewal at the end of the 2023-24 season and it is looking more and more likely that his immediate future is to be away from Villa Park.

Forest fans seem to have enjoyed what they have seen so far from the on-loan striker and defender Max Lowe recently said the "quality" signings made in January - including Davis - could be crucial for the Reds' aspirations of reaching the play-offs this season.
