Nottingham Forest secure Chelsea's Andrey Santos in season-long loan
Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Andrey Santos from Chelsea on a season-long loan.
The Brazil Under-20s captain joins Steve Cooper's side after spending pre-season at Cobham under the guidance of new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The central midfield player, who scored eight times in Vasco da Gama's promotion campaign, has become Forest’s fifth summer signing.
Santos told Forest’s club website: "I am very happy and excited to be here. I know that Forest is a big club, they play good football and they have good players, which is important for me.
"It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League and I can’t wait to enjoy playing."
Chief Football Officer Ross Wilson added: "Everyone knows how talented Andrey is, so naturally we are pleased that amongst the considerable interest in him, he and Chelsea have chosen Nottingham Forest. We are all delighted to have him."
