Nottingham Forest fans send message amid doubt over Bournemouth clash due to Storm Eunice
Nottingham forest fans have had their say over doubts over the status of the Championship clash against AFC Bournemouth.
The Reds are due to travel down to the south coast tonight as they look to build on the dramatic point that they earned in their last outing against Stoke City.
However, the emergence of Storm Eunice has put a doubt on if the game against Bournemouth will go ahead as originally planned.
Bournemouth gave an update on the status of the clash on Thursday night.
“The club is working alongside its Safety Advisory Group, the EFL and Nottingham Forest, and will provide relevant information to all those planning to travel as soon as possible on Friday,” the statement read.
As it stands, there has still been no other update with the game set to go ahead.
Forest fans are starting to make their way to the south coast, although they could be turning back should a decision be made to postpone the match.
There has also been some suggestion that the game could be put back by 24 hours.
As they wait for more news, here is what Forest fans have had to say on social media.
: Just play it tonight, surely no point in calling it off to stop people travelling when people are already travelling down #nffc
: Leaving for Bournemouth soon and still no news on the game
Surely if the pitch is fine then the game goes ahead? If you don’t feel safe then don’t go #nffc
: If the games goes ahead it could be hilarious with the ball and the wind #nffc
: I want the game postponed for selfish reasons because I don't even know if I'll have any power to watch it on the TV. #nffc
: The wind is 18mph at kick off tonight and 20mph at 3pm tomorrow would be stupid to move it to a sat kick off to play in worse conditions. If postponed
