Nottingham Forest fans have made their feelings clear on 'laughable' transfer rumour

Nottingham Forest supporters have all shared the same feeling about the Reds' link with Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

The Sun reported that the Reds are "ready to try their luck" with a bid for the England international following the Clarets' relegation to the Championship. Despite their final day heartbreak, Burnley are said to value Pope at £40million and Forest are keen to grant the goalkeeper's wish of staying in the top flight.

Since signing from Charlton Athletic in 2016, Pope has missed only eight top flight games over the previous three seasons and has won the club's Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year twice.

The goalkeeper, who is currently away on international duty with Gareth Southgate's side, will be hoping for a return to the Premier League ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November.

Every players price will go up if you are
