No play on second day of England, Proteas Test series decider following Queen's death
The third and deciding Test between England and the Proteas won't resume on Friday following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the news on Thursday evening.
"Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Friday's play between England and South Africa Men at The Oval will not take place," the statement read.
Cricket South Africa also confirmed the developments saying that updates would be provided in due course.
Day 1 was abandoned following various weather interruptions after England won the toss and asked the Proteas to bat.
The three-match Test series is level at 1-1.
