No deal yet! Man United, Ten Hag talks still ongoing as finer details are being discussed
Premier League giants Manchester United and Erik ten Hag have not put pen to paper on an agreement for the Dutchman to become the club's new manager.
According to transfer whisperer Fabrizio Romano, he claims that United's interim boss Ralf Rangnick, who also is serving a two-year consultancy role at the club, has given his approval of Ten Hag to the board. He said on Twitter: "While Man Utd sources insist no final agreement has been reached yet with any manager, even Rangnick has approved Erik ten Hag in private conversations. Rangnick is not involved in any negotiation - it's up to the club to discuss details of the project with Ten Hag."

However, talks remain ongoing and are "positive" between United and Ten Hag's current club, Ajax Amsterdam, as the 52-year-old has a release clause of €2 million.
Discussions around long-term plans, budget, players and staff members are reportedly being brought up with Ten Hag as well.
It seems that United have settled on Ten Hag from a four-man shortlist, and the Dutchman is ready to leave Ajax at the end of the season.
