Nintendo Direct 2022 Predictions: Fans Guess What Will Be Revealed
It was confirmed this week that Nintendo would be hosting another Nintendo Direct, and fans have predicted what will be coming on Wednesday 9th February 2022.
There are a number of games that are apparently set to be revealed on the night, including major new entries into franchises such as Splatoon, Mario Kart and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Users on the r/GamingLeaksandRumours have been making their predictions ever since the event was confirmed by Nintendo.
One Redditor gave a pretty comprehensive list in terms of what they’re expecting. They wrote: “My predictions for tonight. Something BOTW2 related maybe, [or an] announcement of a Zelda direct next month.
“Splatoon 3, so much Splatoon, Monster Hunter DLC trailer. Tease for either new Fire Emblem or Xenoblade game and Big Closing Surprise is a new Mario game is coming out to synergise with the Chris Pratt movie, maybe Odyssey 2.”
Another user would give a more general view of what they want to see, harking back to the ‘classic’ days of the event.
They said: “More than wanting a specific game, I really hope they surprise us and give a lot of awesome things to look forward to.
“During the 3DS era, with Satoru iwata, directs always felt so packed and awesome and the game we got was always awesome. With the switch the directs are kind of underwhelming, more business-y.
“There’s not many Nintendo games and the ones there are (that don’t come from the switch to
