Nick Kyrgios trolls Novak Djokovic for his reaction to Roger Federer’s tearful speech in contrast to Rafael Nadal

Tennis rebel Nick Kyrgios has poked fun at Novak Djokovic for his reaction to Roger Federer’s tearful speech at the Laver Cup.

Federer, one of the sport’s greatest ever players, retired from tennis on Friday night in front of a emotional 17,500-capacity crowd at The O2 in London.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion could be seen with tears streaming down his face as he took a seat after his final professional match, which ended in a doubles defeat alongside Rafael Nadal as they lost out to Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.

‘That’s the beauty of sport. This is the most beautiful sporting picture ever for me.

‘When your companions cry for you, you know why you’ve been able to do with your god given talent. Nothing but respect for these two.’

Kyrgios lost to Djokovic in this year’s Wimbledon final, with the Serbian moving one major trophy ahead of Federer, taking his total to 21 Grand Slams.
