NFL: Ranking every stadium from 'Cream Of The Crop' to 'Bulldoze And Start Again'
NFL stadiums have certainly been making a few headlines during this most recent offseason.
The Washington Commanders for instance have been embrolied in something of a dispute when it comes to their stadium. There have been reports to suggest that they could soon make a move away from Fedex Field, a place they have called home since the 1997 season and set up shop in Virginia in a brand new stadium having paid $100m for a plot of land there.
The Cleveland Browns meanwhile are exploring options away from their current stadium at First Energy Field with reports suggesting that a new one for the team could cost as much as $1bn to build.
Meanwhile last week a number of stadiums around the NFL heard that they would be hosting games for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 11 stadiums around the NFL were selected by the organisers, ranging from the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium with the smallest (expandable) capacity of 67,518 to the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium that can fit in as many as (105,000).
And so with that being said, it seems like a good time to look at all of the stadiums around the NFL and where they rank on our list.
There were a number of criteria used to come up with the list, including age, overall appearance and fanbase and it was broken down into the following tiers:
Self-explanatory, the stadiums that should be on the top of your bucket list to go to.
Plenty of redeemable features, but just not quite enough to break into the top tier.
Middle of the pack, nothing spectacular but nothing major to bring it down either.
Getting on a bit and could do with some changes to bring it up a level.
Stadiums that are either going to, or at the very least should, be vacated and demolished as soon as possible.
So with that
