Neymar: Twitter thread arguing that PSG star is underappreciated goes viral

Perhaps no player in the modern era has been as polarising as Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazilian superstar Neymar.

The 30-year-old’s incredible talent has been undeniable from the moment he first burst on to the scene as a youngster.

While playing for two of European football’s biggest clubs, Neymar has enjoyed plenty of success – and is even on the verge of smashing a significant record for his country.

Despite having had a career that few could hope to match, Neymar’s detractors insist that he should have achieved more during his time in the game.

In response to critics who label the Brazilian as overrated, the folks over at COPA90 have put together a Twitter thread of evidence to show that Neymar is actually underappreciated – and it’s quickly gone viral.

We’ve taken a look at thread in full below. In truth, it’s tough to argue with some of the points made.
