Neymar does not want to leave PSG before World Cup with Brazil

Superstar Neymar is reportedly in no rush to leave PSG despite reports to the contrary and is focused on his preparations for the Qatar World Cup this year.

The 30-year-old has attracted interest from a host of clubs leading to claims that he could be set for a move away from the French capital, with Chelsea among those said to be looking at him.

PSG would cash-in on the attacker if they receive a suitable offer, according to GOAL. However, it has now been reported that the player does not want to leave and wishes to stay at the club.

Neymar wants to stay due to the upcoming World Cup and he thinks PSG is the best place for him to prepare as he hopes to help Brazil to a sixth tournament win.

The former Barcelona star is currently in training with PSG as he takes part in the club's pre-season preparations.

PSG's new manager, Christophe Galtier, recently said that he is aiming to get the best out of the Brazilian attacker.

'Neymar is a world-class player, what coach wouldn't want him in his squad. We have to find a balance in the team,' he said.

'I have a very clear idea of what I want from him. I haven't met him yet but I want him to stay with us.'

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona for a world record transfer fee of £198m (€222m) after the French side activated the release clause in his contract in 2017.

His former agent, Wagner Ribeiro, stressed last month that he was determined to win the Champions League with PSG

He told reporters: 'Neymar has a dream, to be champion of the Champions League with PSG.

'Despite all the rumours regarding a possible exit, he is very motivated and will not stop until he achieves it.”
