Amid doubts over his long-term Paris Saint-Germain future, Neymar has reportedly emerged as a potential summer target for Chelsea.
The Brazilian has been in the French capital since a world record £200m switch from Spanish giants Barcelona back in the summer of 2017. Despite having racked up an impressive goalscoring record - and having won four Ligue 1 crowns - there has long been doubts over his commitment to the club.
The 30-year-old has regularly been linked with an exit from the Parc des Princes, with a switch back to former club Barcelona mooted two years ago. But now, a switch to the Premier League and Chelsea is being mooted in France as PSG look to undergo their own transformation this summer having once again last term failed to get anywhere near the trophy that's most craved at the Parc des Princes: The Champions League.
According to RMC Sport, the winger is ‘considering’ leaving the club and there is interest from England. As per the reports, Chelsea are among the contenders, with PSG now potentially open to selling the Brazilian superstar and new Blues chief Todd Boehly is keen to seal a marquee signing this summer as he looks to make his mark in west London.
Of course, should Neymar complete a switch to west London, he would be reunited with former boss Thomas Tuchel. The pair struck up an excellent understanding with PSG.
