Neymar angry at Mbappe for not passing him the ball during PSG win

Neymar was fuming with Kylian Mbappe for not passing to him during Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League.

The two superstars linked up brilliantly to combine for PSG’s two goals in the first half, with Mbappe scoring both beautifully.

But it was a moment in the second half that also got people talking.

Mbappe was played through by Lionel Messi and closed in on goal looking for a hat-trick. However, there was also the simple opportunity to slide the ball across to Neymar who would have had an open goal.

But Mbappe went for glory and sliced his effort horribly wide.

It left Neymar fuming with him as he screamed for a pass.

You can understand why Mbappe went for glory but you can also understand why Neymar was angry.

Fortunately, it didn’t cost PSG the match as they held out for a narrow victory in the end.

Interestingly, Mbappe talked about his relationship with Neymar before the clash against Juventus.

“To talk about Neymar, this is the sixth year, I think we’ve always had a relationship like this based on respect,” Mbappe told reporters.

“But we’ve always had moments like this where sometimes we’ve had moments that were a bit colder and moments that were a bit hotter.
