Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has already taken a step closer to his long-term aim of improving the prospects at St James' Park with the additions of Nick Pope, Matt Targett and Sven Botman - but the recruitment drive is set to continue.
Indeed, the new faces will keep coming at United in the remainder of the current window and the January window as Howe looks to ensure that he has at least two Premier League quality stars competing for each place in his starting line-up.
