New Finnish-inspired sauna and ice bath experience overlooking Manchester skyline to open

An 'authentic' Finnish sauna and cold plunge experience is set to open in Manchester this month.

Overlooking the city centre skyline, The Good Sauna will open in collaboration with Club de padel, Manchester's first dedicated padel venue.

Located in the New Jackson district on the city, in the shadow of Deansgate Towers, the new sauna experience will combine the warmth of wood-fired with the benefits of cold plunge pools and community-focused relaxation.

Originating in Canada, those behind The Good Sauna say they're committed to preserving the 'rich heritage' of Finnish sauna culture, while creating a welcoming atmosphere by amalgamating the wellness practices. Overlooking the Deansgate skyline, visitors can also enjoy free complimentary hot drinks.

The Good Sauna sessions can be booked via an app, with weekday sessions lasting one hour and are ideal for individuals with limited time, providing a quick yet rejuvenating experience.

For those looking to immerse themselves, extended communal sessions are also available, as well as private bookings that are designed for group celebrations or sport recovery sessions. Additional workshops will be available alongside standard booking types, including yoga and guided breathwork sessions.
