New cocktail bar to open in Manchester's award-winning food hall

A brand new cocktail bar is opening in Manchester's buzzing Northern Quarter. Named Stray, it promises to bring 'uncomplicated' and 'well executed' cocktails to the city's award-winning food hall Mackie Mayor.

Located on Eagle Street, it takes over the unit formerly run by Atkinsons Coffee, which closed its doors earlier this year. The Lancaster-based trader had been part of Mackie Mayor since its reopening as a food hall in 2017.

Opening on Friday, 3 November, Stray's focus will be on 'flavoursome' and 'refined' cocktails developed with 'thought' and 'creativity'. Leading its drinks selection will be a series of signatures cocktails called ‘Led Astray’, which will combine seasonal flavours alongside those less commonly explored.

The menu will also feature a Rhubarb & Pine Gimlet and a Fig Leaf Pisco featuring the flavours of orange blossom and lime.
