Netflix confirms Love Is Blind UK release window

Netflix has confirmed that the first ever series of Love Is Blind UK will drop this summer. Hosted by husband and wife duo Matt and Emma Willis, the social experiment started out in the USA in 2020.

It follows a group of singletons as they date without seeing one another - in a bid to test whether love truly is blind. The hit dating series has swept the US, Brazil, Japan, and most recently, Sweden, each with their own versions of the show.

The show's synopsis explains: "Love Is Blind: UK will see singles enter the pods, where they’ll meet a host of potential soulmates without the distraction from the outside world. If they get engaged, the couples will then lay their eyes on their fiancés for the very first time and spend a few weeks seeing whether their physical connection can compete with their emotional one.

In a short video shared to social media, presenter Emma and Busted musician Matt confirmed the series would launch this August. The pair continue the tradition of a married couple hosting the show, stepping in for usual presenters Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

“I’m so excited to be presenting the UK version of Love Is Blind with Emma,” said Matt. “We love the show! It’s been such a dream working together and fascinating to watch the process unfold. Experiencing this new project side by side has been really amazing, and I can’t wait for people to come on this journey with us.”

Emma added: “I love to play matchmaker with my
