Nedbank Golf Challenge returns to Sun City: By the numbers

The Nedbank Golf Challenge is back on the DP World Tour's schedule after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, Africa's Major will celebrate its 40th-anniversary edition at the Gary Player Country Club.

66 of the DP World Tour's best golfers converge in Sun City and vie for the $6 million (R94 million) event.

This year's Nedbank Golf Challenge will be the penultimate tournament on the 2022 DP World Tour schedule before the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. 

Englishman Tommy Fleetwood will defend his title in Sun City and a strong local challenge of 10 South Africans will vie for the coveted trophy.
