NBA summer league 2023 - News, schedule and scenes - ESPN

Summer league has already brought many interesting storylines through the first week of play.

The California Classic in Sacramento and the Salt Lake City leagues have ended, but the NBA 2K24 league in Las Vegas is just ramping up. The Vegas league takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. The 76-game event features all 30 NBA teams, with each playing at least five games through July 14.

After each team plays four games, the top four (determined by winning percentage) will advance to the playoffs and participate in a semifinal game on July 16. The 26 teams that do not advance to the playoffs will play a fifth and final game on either July 15 or July 16.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the championship game (July 17).

No. 1 pick and San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama had a rough debut going 2-for-13 from the field against No. 2 pick Brandon Miller and his Charlotte Hornets, but Wembanyama redeemed himself with a 27-point showing in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
