The first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs tips off Saturday. Expect plenty of drama after a memorable regular season.
The Boston Celtics clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference in March and later secured the top overall seed. They're followed by the No. 2 seed New York Knicks and the No. 3 seed Milwaukee Bucks.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the 4-seed, followed by the Orlando Magic (No. 5) and the Indiana Pacers (No. 6). The East's play-in tournament teams are the No. 7 Philadelphia 76ers, No. 8 Miami Heat, No. 9 Chicago Bulls and No. 10 Atlanta Hawks.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are the top seed in the Western Conference. The defending champions Denver Nuggets are the 2-seed, with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the No. 3 spot.
The LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks are the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds, respectively, with the Phoenix Suns at the No. 6 spot.
The West's play-in tournament teams are the No. 7 New Orleans Pelicans, No. 8 Los Angeles Lakers, No. 9 Sacramento Kings and the No. 10 Golden State Warriors.
