Nadal (abdominal) withdraws from Wimbledon
A third Wimbledon crown will not be in the offing for Rafael Nadal this weekend.
The 36-year-old Spaniard has withdrawn from the tournament ahead of his semifinal match with an abdominal tear.

With Nadal's withdrawal, Australian Nick Kyrgios gets a walkover into his first Grand Slam final.
The former World No. 1 previously won the tournament in both 2008 and 2010. The second-seeded Nadal had beaten No. 11 Taylor Fritz, No. 21 Botic van de Zandschlup, No. 27 Lorenzo Sonego, Ricardas Berankis and Francisco Cerundolo on his way to the semis.
Along with his two Wimbledon victories, Nadal has won two Australian Opens, four US Opens and a record 14 French Opens.
The 27-year-old Kyrgios was about to play his first Grand Slam semifinal, but will instead go straight to Sunday's final. Prior to this tournament, Kyrgios's best finish at a Grand Slam came in the 2015 Australian Open.
No. 1 Novak Djokovic meets local favourite No. 9 Cameron Norrie in the other semifinal.
More to come.
