Mum takes family of seven to Tenerife restaurant and is gobsmacked when bill comes

It could actually be cheaper to take your family out for a meal abroad rather than doing it here in the UK.

While this may seem like a dream, a mum-of-seven shared just how much she paid for seven of her brood to go for a meal in Tenerife.

When visiting the Canary Island, the family decided to dig into delicacies from steak to pizza. They washed everything down with drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Even though they probably checked prices on the menu, the family was gobsmacked by how reasonable the bill was when it turned up. The mum even posted about it on TikTok.

In a viral clip she revealed: "Evening meal this evening cost €54.84 (around £45)". And it seems that people were equally as impressed by the value!

One user admitted: "That would be £150 easy in Turkey." Another exclaimed: "How? That's amazing!"

A third commenter noted: "Good price. We normally pay roughly 50 to 60 euros for three people." Meanwhile, a fourth also wrote: "Amazing value, and your kids seem very well behaved too. That's amazing."

Another person wrote: "Love their table etiquette. Great parenting." And a fifth replied: "That's amazing. I live in Cyprus. It would be much more than that."
