The mum of a 33-year-old who lost her battle with cancer this week has shared a heart breaking tribute to her daughter. Danielle Tara Harker, from Burnley, died just months after being diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer.

Suzi Folley praised her daughter's "strength of a warrior" and "beauty of a princess" adding that she "she lit up a room with her presence." Danielle leaves behind her two children Shae, three, Arlo, two and husband of five years Anthony Harker.

She was diagnosed with the cancer in late 2021 after doctors initially thought her symptoms were related to her Crohn's Disease, a type of inflammatory bowel disease. Danielle had lived with the condition since she was 17-years-old, reports Lancs Live.
