Mum mocks 'bizarre' Zara model photoshoots with kitchen foil and trench coat in hilarious pictures

A comical GP receptionist has been mocking bizarre Zara photoshoots with her own collage of hilarious pictures. Whether it be wearing kitchen foil on her head or posing with multi-coloured balloons, mum-of-two Carla Hughes has been the brunt of jokes with her friends during lockdown for her funny creations.

It was when shopping in popular high street retailer Zara for her two children, that Carla was left perplexed by the awkward poses the models did when showing off the items of clothing. So, when returning home from a stressful shift at work one day, she decided it would be a good idea to re-enact one.

Tagging Zara in her initial post on Facebook, the front line worker, who has battled a gruelling two years working for the NHS during the pandemic, said it gave her and her friends 'something to laugh about' during otherwise dark times. Posing with an array of items scattered around her house, her 10-year-old son plays photographer.

"I'm pretty good at it aren't I?" joked Carla, modestly laughing about her latest snaps. "My job is pretty stressful and I worked right through the pandemic, but when I got home I just wanted to have a laugh and do something to make people smile.

"I work at a GP in Manchester city centre, and we look after thousands of patients and walk ins, and it's been really challenging for us through Covid. I am a bigger girl, and it is an automatic thing for me to want to make people laugh.

"It is hard juggling looking after children, getting them to school and working long hours and keeping yourself sane. I shop in Zara for my children and love a lot of the stuff in there, but find the modelling
