MTK promise to comply with US sanctions against Daniel Kinahan

Boxing promotion company MTK Global has released a statement promising to "take every measure to ensure" it complies with US sanctions and conduct no business with Daniel Kinahan in future.

In the statement today MTK says Kinahan has had no involvement in the company since 2017, when the co-founder allegedly parted ways with the company.

Daniel Kinahan, who has been named in the High Court as the controller and manager of the Kinahan gang, his father Christopher Snr, a convicted drug trafficker, and brother Christopher Jnr, who was caught travelling on a false identity document in Germany, have all been placed on an Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) list, a list of the US Treasury Department.

In today's statement MTK say they will "comply fully with the sanctions".

"MTK parted ways with Mr Kinahan in February 2017. He has had no interest in the business
