Moyes provides Bowen, Coufal updates amid West Ham balancing act
David Moyes is hoping that Jarrod Bowen will be back for West Ham United soon, although he believes the squad have shown they are capable of keeping their momentum going when players are absent.
West Ham United will face Moyes’ former club Everton on Sunday upon the return from the international break. They will be hoping to pick up some momentum as they aim to make it over the line for European qualification again.

They have been without Bowen for their past four matches, which included both legs of the Europa League aggregate win over Sevilla. Teammate Vladimir Coufal has been a longer-term absentee, since February.
Asked for updates on the duo, Moyes confirmed they have both been back in training, but is unsure if they are match fit.
He said at a press conference: “A chance that both could make it. Both did a bit of training over the international break so a chance both can be there.
“I’m not quite sure they are match ready yet. That’s my only concern.”
Coufal has been an important player for West Ham over the past couple of years at right-back. Bowen’s impact is arguably even more noticeable in attack.
The winger has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season and Moyes knows it would be beneficial to have him back. Still, he has praised the way the squad has adapted in the absences of key players.
The manager said: “I expect him to be on the pitch in the coming weeks but I don’t know about this week. I expect him to be on it shortly.
