Morning Coffee: Countdown To NFL Season Continues With Hall Of Fame Game

The National Football League is back.

For the first time in 172 days, you can bet on an NFL game at FanDuel and watch it play out tonight.

Sure, we won’t be wagering on Trevor Lawrence or Derek Carr just yet, but the Pro Football Hall of Fame game signals the start of something special, with exactly 35 days to go before the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams kick off the regular season on Thursday September 8th.

Meanwhile, Week 9 in the CFL also kicks off tonight with the two-time defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers set to put their perfect record on the line again versus the Montreal Alouettes.

Blue Bombers Aim To Stay Perfect In Montreal

The two-time defending champions will eventually lose a football game.

Coming off a 35-28 win over the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday night, the Blue Bombers will have a few factors working against them in Montreal.

First, Winnipeg is one of just two CFL teams that has played in each of the first eight weeks of the season.

Is this the week that fatigue finally sinks in?
