Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: All New Monsters That Are Confirmed for the Game

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is the upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, and all of the new monsters have now been confirmed for the game.

The developers have now also officially confirmed three of the biggest new monsters that will be coming as part of the expansion.

One of these new monsters will be a ‘flagship’ monster to Sunbreak, one of the monsters is a brand new addition to the game and the final confirmed one is a returning monster to the title.

Here’s everything you need to know about the monsters that will be featuring as part of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.

Lunagaron is the first new monster that will be arriving with the release of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.

The new monster actually bears resemblance to Tobi Kadachi, and it appears that it will be using ice as its primary element in-game.

Insiders have also given more information on the new monster, with @joenuts15389989 revealing on Twitter in February 2022: “Lunagaron has a lot of unique shapes on its body that you don’t really see outside of its own design, at least from my experience, the fact we haven’t even seen the full extent of this design in action is very exciting to me as it is based on werewolves.”

Shogun Ceanataur will be returning to the game as part of the Sunbreak expansion, as previously revealed by Capcom.

Shogun was previously featured in Monster Hunter Generations. The monster falls under the Carapaceon class and uses water as its primary element in-game.
