Molly McCann admits she's her own worst enemy after UFC London win

UFC sensation Molly McCann has explained why she’s her own toughest opponent after another memorable finish at UFC London.

Over the course of the last twelve months, few fighters have captured the heart of the MMA fanbase quite like Molly McCann. The Scouse star is 6-3 in the UFC but in her last two outings, she’s put together consecutive spinning elbow finishes to remind the world just how good she is.

During a chat with GiveMeSport.com, Molly went into detail about how she’s been able to get to this level.

“It was my ninth fight in the UFC and my sixth win, so I believe I’ve just found my footing properly. I just feel like, not that I’m invincible because I work that hard to know that’s not the case because I’ve obviously lost before, but I’m just at a part of my career where everything [is coming together].

“It’s more fight IQ to be honest, and decision making, it’s a lot better. Everyone has said how did you improve on the last fight, I just kind of said to everyone, I have a more measured approach. I won’t go slanging and banging as the Americans would say.”

The win in question came on Saturday night when she secured a TKO win over Hannah Goldy – which, unsurprisingly, she celebrated in style.

“I must’ve done about two bottles of Howler Head on the Saturday, so, the hangover wasn’t actually that bad because I was just floating from the win the night before. We went for Chinese, you can kind of get away with a Nando’s, or a steak, you’re not getting away with a Chinese, and it was to die for!”

@TheRock excuse me Mr Rock, but can I keep borrowing the peoples elbow. It’s doing me bits
