Mohamed Salah gives Man City ace Erling Haaland extra incentive for Liverpool FC game
Just as Erling Haaland was looking invincible again, a scare for him and Manchester City.
The big No.9 will play no part in Norway's fixtures over the next fortnight after a groin injury he picked up against Burnley got worse rather than better as he headed off to the national camp. City do not think the injury is serious, but he will need further tests before it can be determined if he will be fit to face Liverpool in 11 days' time.
City and Haaland will hope that the early verdicts are correct and the problem is not bad enough to rule him out of any of their matches. Kicking off against Liverpool eight points behind leaders Arsenal, the Blues know that a fit Haaland gives them the best chance possible of closing the gap and putting more pressure on at the top.

For Haaland, there are more records on offer for a player who has scored eight in his last two matches at the Etihad and has scored 30 goals there this season at an average of better than one every 47 minutes - basically a goal every half. If his away record is pretty good, his home form has been out of this world.
Currently standing on 28 league goals, the 22-year-old is two strikes away from equalling (or a hat-trick away from breaking) Kevin Phillips' record for the most goals in a debut Premier League season (30). Liverpool's Mohamed Salah holds the 38-game record for most goals in a season with 32.
Haaland could miss the Liverpool game at the beginning of April and still have 10 games to score the five goals he needs for that, yet he could do with playing and scoring against Jurgen Klopp's side to move in sight of another Salah record. Along with Ian Wright and Robin van
