Mohamed Salah agent gives game away with 'reaction' to comments from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

It took Ramy Abbas Issa little more than an hour to seemingly react to Jurgen Klopp’s latest claims about Mohamed Salah’s contract negotiations at Liverpool.

The German had been asked about the Egyptian’s contract negotiations in his latest press conference, and while confirming an agreement was no closer to being reached, he put the ball in Salah ’s court, insisting the club have done all they can.

"Mo definitely expects this club to be ambitious," Klopp told reporters. "We were in the last few years and we are.

"We cannot do much more, that's how it is. But I don't think it's about that. It's Mo's decision pretty much. The club did what the club can do. That's how it is.

"Nothing bad to say about it. It's fine from my point of view. It's exactly like it should be in this moment in time. Everything is set. Nothing happened further, no signing, no rejection or whatever.

"We just have to wait for that. It's completely fine. No rush in that situation."

It was a change of tone from Klopp. While not panicking about the 29-year-old’s future, it was arguably a step back from previous confidence that Salah would inevitably be staying at
