MMA fighter punches opponent during face-off to spark wild brawl

Two Russian fighters turned a press conference into an all-out brawl ahead of the new season of Hardcore Fighting Championship.

Umar Tesiev faced off with Sergey Kiselev at an event to promote the second season of Hardcore FC, and the event quickly descended into a punch-up.

The promotion, which holds bare-knucke events, hosted their 'Hard Conference' for their next series of fights, which pitted Tesiev against Kiselev for the first time.

And the pair wasted no time in trading blows with the brawl sparked when Tesiev was pushed by Kiselev.

Kiselev stayed on the offensive, punching his rival, who then dropped to shoot for a single-leg takedown.

It appears that part of the appeal of Hardcore FC is that they allow the press conferences and face-offs to get aggressive.

When Kiselev pushed his opponent, it becomes clear that the event's host has no interest in stepping in to break up the brawl from going any further.

It took Tesiev shooting for the takedown after being punched and posturing as if he was planning to throw a kick for security and other officials to come in and break up the fight.

The broadcast then showed a number of replays, indicating that they were okay with the behaviour, which would be forbidden in America or the UK.

It comes after a similar incident between Alexander Yanshin and Tamerlan Temirov which took place during another press conference held by the promotion.

No dates have been confirmed for any of the fights as yet, but Yanshin and Temirov went viral for their spat last week.

Temirov threw a sucker punch at Yanshin causing something of a brawl.

And after the situation appeared to have been calmed down, Yanshin ran across the stage to throw a jumping kick at his opponent, causing a second brawl.
